Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
This Policy explains what personal information Proplat (hereinafter "we", "the Company") collects when you use the proplat.ca website, why we collect it, how we store it and what rights you have. For visitors in Canada, we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. What information we collect
- Contact details you provide in the contact form or in the site chat: name, phone number, email, website address, and the description of your task. This information is filed into our CRM so we can reply to you.
- Messages you send to the AI consultant on the site — to process your request and prepare an answer.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you viewed (through cookies and analytics).
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your inquiry and to provide consultations and services.
- To contact you about your request (phone, email).
- To improve the website and analyze site traffic.
- To meet our contractual and legal obligations.
3. Consent
We collect, use and disclose your personal information with your consent. You give that consent when you submit the contact form or write to the AI consultant on the site. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing ca@proplat.biz; withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a service you asked for.
4. Cookies
The site uses cookies to function correctly, to remember your theme preference and to provide analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then stop working correctly. By continuing to use the site, you agree to the use of cookies.
5. Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. It may be processed by the services we use to operate: our request-handling / CRM system, automation platforms (for example n8n), AI model providers, analytics (for example Google Analytics) and messaging services. Each of them processes data in accordance with its own policies.
We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymised traffic statistics. Google receives the address of the page you viewed, the referring source, your device type and an anonymised IP address. No advertising identifiers are collected — our Consent Mode settings keep advertising storage switched off (ad_storage: denied). How Google handles this data is described in Google's policy for partner sites. To opt out, use a script blocker or the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Information processed outside Canada
Our team and our service providers are located outside Canada, mainly in Europe. Your personal information is therefore stored and processed outside Canada and, while it is there, may be accessible to the courts and authorities of those jurisdictions under their laws. By submitting information to us you acknowledge this transfer.
7. Storage and safeguards
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. We apply organizational and technical safeguards to protect it against unauthorized access, and we limit access to the people who need it to answer your request.
8. Your rights
- Access — ask us what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used and disclosed.
- Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal retention obligations.
- Withdraw your consent to processing.
- Complain to us first — and, if you are not satisfied with our response, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To exercise any of these rights, email ca@proplat.biz. We respond within one business day and aim to resolve access and correction requests within 30 days.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
